does b 12 injections help you detox with lyme? I got one the other day at a local pharmacy and I do have more energy. I am considering taking one per week I noticed burrasscano recommends taking b 12 with lyme disease.

Yes. Vitamin B12 supports methylation, which is involved in one of the big detox pathways in the liver.

Ugh! I hate having to give myself these injections!! I grew up giving animals injections, so when that needle is aimed at me, my brain can't help but scream: "STOP! Don't do that!!!" LOL!

I had to do 2 injections of 3 ml a week for 3 months. Now fortunately I'm down to just one a week and hoping that this part will be over with soon!

I was doing injections too, but based on my genetic testing I wasn't using the right form of B12. cyanocobalamin won't help if your body can't use it. I guess all my injections were wasted.

I'm going to talk to my doc at my next appt and show her the information from Amy Yasko & methylation. I'm hoping to further her education about using cyanocobalamin!
