Skin rash and nonstop itchy skin

I was diagnosed with lyme and a couple of co infections a month ago and my skin has been unbearable to another's touch, let alone mine. I have painful rash all over me and it has been itching nonstop for the past 7 months. It got worse after taking the meds and it's the die off, but it has been more of a nuisance for me than lyme itself. Are there anyone who's struggling with this dilemma? I'm sick and tired of having such an itchy skin with rash. I'm desperate and seeking for help to achieve relief. Thank you.

What does your rash look like? Can you post a picture of it?

When did you notice the rash starting - after starting a specific medication, or starting something else?

We can't really even suggest anything until we understand what may be causing it, as we don't want to suggest something that could make it worse!

Have you told your doctor about this? Are they trained by ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society)?

I am so sorry you are going through this. When I was pregnant with my daughter and did not know I had Lyme I had a horrible rash all over my body and would itch until it bled. It was just about the most miserable time in my life so I feel for you there.
I'm not sure what is causing your rash but I do know of one thing that helped me, again it helped me so I cannot say if it will work for you but I was desperate and tried just about everything. Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap. You can buy it at any health food store, I always bought at Amazon.com. It would stop the itch and actually got rid of the rash little buy little. I was taking showers morning and night for the first week and then I started feeling better and was down to only in the morning.
Every once in a while I have a rash pop up on my legs and I instantly start using Pine Tar soap before it gets out of control itchy.
