Mystery 1, I'm on Day 68 of the full Cowden Protocol and haven't noticed any real change in my health for better or worse. I decided to make an appointment with an LLMD because I felt that if it was going to work for me that I would have noticed something. My LLMD confirmed last week that I should have indeed noticed something by now. So, much to my chagrin, I'm going to be starting on an antibiotic program soon. I'm in the process of getting all my prescript
ions filled. My LLMD did mention that we may go back to Cowden after 6 to 8 months of antibiotics. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper because I really wanted to go the herb route, but it just didn't work for me. I should mention, though, that I have been ill for 21+ years, misdiagnosed all those years as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was just diagnosed with LD in July of this year. My LLMD thinks I will need the antibiotics because of the length of time I've been battling Lyme. All that being said, that doesn't mean that Cowden won't work for you. I've heard a lot of good reports from people who have done well on it. Hope that helps.
