Making progress....I think?

Yesterday I had about 2 hours of almost symptom free - I would say I felt 80% better.
I have not felt this in over a year. I felt like my old self. I put on some music and did the dishes...and tidied up the kitchen. Not only pain was better, but stiffness, too...even on my upper left side which I have been wondering if it's lyme related...felt a lot better.
Could be the biaxin is working....

Then slowly throughout the evening, symptoms came back, but not as bad as usual...

But...woke up this morning and having a not-so good day so far. Quite a bit of pain - like my bad days...but not bad enough to be a herx.

Been there, done that. Try not to do too much, even on those days you feel better. Do one more thing each day, that's it for a week and see how you feel. Then go to two extra things.

It gives me confidence...if I can feel that good for those hours...then it's possible to feel that good all the time.

Also - for those of you who are getting frustrated with length of treatment and lack of improvement - just hang on. I was starting to wonder. I'm at the 3 month mark...it took that long. Maybe the change in meds helped.
So if anyone is getting to that point of despair...even if it's more than a couple months...maybe tomorrow, or next week, or next month you will start to feel a change...can't give up!

I think my day has turned into a herxing day...quite sore, vibrations, weakness, and muscle twitches... but that's okay...I know the good days can happen now!
