So today, I had to go to the hospital for a blood draw.
I was actually at the professional building across the street from the hospital.
Due to all my heart symptom's I am seeing a cardiologist.
Hopefully I can rule out any heart issues and call the symptoms Lyme related.
I was having a bad day even before I went to the hospital.
As I start to leave the building my symptom's kick up, serious brain fog, weakness, very faint and short of breath.
I somehow make it out to my truck and get inside of it.
At this time there is no way I can drive so I just sit and suffer.
I nearly passed out twice and was feeling absolutely horrible.
Even though I have been through this countless amount of times it is still scary.
Now this is the sad part......After about 10 minutes I make a bad decision to drive.
You see, I thought I should get across the street to the hospital parking lot.
This way if I passed out or even something worse, I would be closer to the Emergency room.
And maybe somebody would see me and get me help.
So you ask "why didn't you just go to the Emergency room?"
Before I was officially diagnosed with Lyme, I had numerous trips to the ER with similar symptoms.
And of course they found nothing each and every trip!
Even though todays symptoms felt like something very bad could happen, I did not feel like spending the day in the hospital.
Just another day in the life of a "Lyme-ee".
