MarchCat, try doing something called a "body scan" meditation (see Youtube). Yes, you will notice your symptoms, but you will move through them, and be able to sleep. Pay attention to your body without judging, and saying, "Oh, this is horrible!"
In order to sleep, you need to get out of your head/brain, which, of course, is where worrying take place. That's why going into your body is actually a good thing.
