Here it goes...

I was on Zithro for a month (wk on, wk off) starting Oct. Then doxy two weeks by an Er Dr. Then off abx for a month, now 2nd day of zithro for a month... my Dr. Wanted to do blood tests to check cbc, adrenals, and another lyme test because she was curious to see where if any other bands popped up, also a comp panel... I WAS starting to feel better until now back on antibiotics, nervous about blood testsand what herxing will bring me this time... last time I two days of zithro left and ended up in ER twice in one weekend for a numb face, tingling, and shaking! Guess I could just use some positive thoughts, prayers... just when you think you are on the road to recovery!

I started treatment last March. Had some vast improvements initially, then it seemed like everything came crashing back down. I have had about 5 ER visits in the last 6 months. Had a lot of new scary symptoms most recently....all I can tell you is it's very hard to tell when to go to the ER or not, when your symptoms seem to warrant the visit. I am always scared that if I tolerate my symptoms, "what if today is the day I SHOULD have gone to the ER" and didn't. But, I cant keep living my life with this anxiety, which I know only worsens my symptoms. My plan for 2015 is to "be still" and trust my gut instinct, not the anxiety. I also know that with Lyme and co, the bacteria are so sophisticated that changing it up is a must. I am very grateful to have a LLMD who supports that mentality and is invested in helping me get better.

Most of all, just know that you have to "get thru" it, and some of those days will be better than others. All in all, I feel that I have had better days than bad ones since treatment, and I try to at least relish in that thought.

Thanks guys... I appreciate it, thank god for you guys and healing well for allowing us to have free access! Lyme is not for whimps, I have tried to explain how painful it can be and people look at me like I am an alien, I'm just afraid that my blood tests are going to come back that I have another disease... you know that question a lot of us ask ourselves " what if there's something else causing these symptoms too" its just how an insect can turn your world upside down, but I will get through, we all will I def. Do need to look into mors support, my Dr. Said she is going to get back with me after my resultsto see where I stand. Thanks everyone... guess I just need to vent a little to people who know what I'm talking about!
