I got the first one, too. I'm thinking of making some copies and giving it to my friends to watch.
But, I'd kind of like to watch it with them.

Yes it updates the Lyme stories from the first movie! There are mixed happy endings. The two main characters, the park warden is in total 100% remission now (without herbs or support antibiotics)... But lol to get there I read his story and he was on abx for something like 7-8 years!

The girl on the cover, she's also in 100% remission with no herbs or supplements. Again she went the long term antibiotic route.

The sad thing about these 2 is their relationships fell apart because of Lyme and they ended up getting a divorce.

The other lady who did the U2 concerts is doing much better going purely with natural based treatments. I think she's like 85% well.

I haven't watched it yet...but I thought at the end of the first one that the girl from the U2 band was doing antibiotics. Did she change...or maybe I'm not remembering.

LoL… Well it's just a somewhat happy ending lol! I just wanted to share that yes, people DID beat this! So it is possible! I read of some people saying… No Lyme is chronic, and when your antibiotic therapy is over you will have to go on a herbal protocol for… LIFE to prevent relapse! Actually it came from Dr. H himself on a radio talkshow. So that just simply is not the case. But sometimes some really long intensive treatments are necessary.

Girlie, the U2 concert girl, I think she took abx for awhile but she got sick of them. When she was first diagnosed with Lyme she did that for a little bit. Then she held off and went to see Dr. K in Seattle.

Bryguy, you should definitely see the first one! The second one is more of the followup. Seeing the first one is a pretty important piece of it as it follow ups the characters.

So, so glad to hear that the lymies in the first movie are doing so well. How encouraging is all of that seeing how sick they were. But what a bummer that their marriages didn't last. It is so very hard on families--I sure know that.

I wonder if the producer from Dr Phil show and the weather forecaster Brooke are also doing better??

Not much has changed re: politically - that's a disappointment - second one is 7 years later?

I cried when I watched it. When people describe what it feels like to have Lyme disease...it gets me everytime. We can so relate to that.

I agree with the people who said that the name needs to be changed...from Lyme disease to something else...as it now comes with a stigma attached to it.
