How can you tell if you have a high viral load? Do you look at your igg or igm results? Can you lower your igg levels? Does it make any difference if your igg level is high.

My understanding of IgG and IgM is the same as Mister Mike's.
I know that I have no IgM antibodies for EBV. However, my EBV level for IgG is 600 (I had mono in my 20's and I'm in my late 50's now).
I have had absolutely no signs/symptoms of EBV since I had mono.
I believe it's Lyme and Co's that can cause high IgG even with a current infection and it has to do with their dysregulation of the immune system.
Still, people on here mention the reactivation of viruses and/or treating viral load. I'm curious as to how all of that comes into play.
Anyone?
