You will need a microscope that uses darkfield, in order to see any spirochete: that includes the other disease causing one. darkfield microscope usually comes in a bundle, with other phases, like phase contrast, brightfield, darkfield. You also need to learn how to calibrate and use one. Microscope of these caliber are very expensive, upwards from 6k to more than 10k, for high quality micro. i use them in micro lab last weak. they usually have 10x, 40x and 100x, bacteria will need to be seen in 100x, you will have to use oil contrast, in order to compensate for the refractive index of air. maintenance of microscope is also required, such as using special optical wipes for microscope, any other kind of tissue paper will damage the lens. These scopes are inappropriate for regular use. spirochetes also cannot be stained, otherwise it will kill the organisms or alter its dimensions to the point is unrecognizable.
