Girlie- I have had one on my left wrist for years. It's hard and attached to the bone. Since my early twenties, I was unable to do do push ups b/c of where the nodule is on my wrist.
Early 30's I was already in a lot of pain & tried massage. It felt okay afterwards, but then I was dying of pain for the following two or three days. The therapist would try to massage these nodules out & said I'd need to keep coming back to get them completely worked out. Well, I went back one more time & felt so awful, again, that I didn't go back again. The nodules were along my arms, legs & spine.
Since the acute lyme infection in June 2013, as per Stephen Buhner's recommendation, I tried another massage in August 2014, with reservation.
This time, the nodules were one on top of the other all over the front & side of my thighs. Nodules also heavily hips & butt area & still the arms, calves, back.
The therapist mentioned that these were very odd places on the thighs & she hadn't ever seen them like I had them before.
And, yes, massaging made me miserable again, except this time for about
a whole week afterwards.
Can anyone else relate to this?
PS. I understand lactic acid build-up & drinking lots of water afterwards, etc. with massages, but what I experienced was not that.
