I stumbled across this post of fb about a chiropractor in Virginia Beach who cured his whole family of Lyme. I then googled and found him, very interesting. Hope it's ok to post this and might help somebody who lives in this area.

Right before I was diagnosed with lyme, I found a counselor at our community mental health, because my anxiety was SO BAD... anyways they offered auricular accupuncture, I havent gone in weeks but let me tell you... I swear by it! I thought it was all hocus pocus at first but it is amazing after about the 3rd time you feel wonderful!

Thanks so much for posting this, Revive.

There are a lot of chiropractors that do amazing work outside their usual treatments that we think of!

TB: I am glad that you saw improvement! Can you share how did it help and how much is a session, please? Did it help with your anxiety only OR with pain level as well?

I used to get Auricular therapy regularly when I was healing from my first set of infections - only I didn't stop there as it was never enough to handle all of my symptoms. I was seeing a Master Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner/Acupuncturist. Master Western Herbalist during the healing of my infections the first time around.

Can auricular therapy be helpful? Tremendously!! Especially if you have a highly intuitive practitioner with years of training in acupuncture with many years of experience. There are some very wonderful 'points' in the ears that can really help the person regain their health, but I have doubts that using Auricular therapy alone can heal a chronic Lyme patient.

But that's just my opinion based on my experience.

I don't believe it either, I would have to see it. Maybe it strengthens the immune system, so the immune system keeps it in check till a stressor comes back into their lives.

If I lived in the area of Virginia Beach, I would definitely try it.

Our son saw the chiropractor who does this therapy. It did not work for him, however he was away at school and did not follow all of the guidelines. Doctor is very sincere, very kind, believes in what he is doing. His wife who had Lyme works there and is very knowledgeable. We live in Virginia Beach so it was not a hardship to get there.
