New to Lyme.. Looking for LLMD in Charlotte NC or close

Hello I am new to this and I have not yet been diagnosed with Lyme's; however, with all of my research and my best friend that I live with who is a nursing student and has studied the disease and observed me are pretty sure that this is what I have so I am looking for a good LLMD to see to be treated. Hospitals, clinics, etc have done nothing but make this journey more frustrating for me. I noticed my bull's eye rash about 7 months ago and a doctor gave me treatment for ringworm when it looks nor feels like ringworm. I am worried now because my symptoms are far past the initial symptoms that come along with Lyme. It would be great if someone could email me with anything to help. Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to the forum LittleCupcake! Kudos to your best friend for thinking of Lyme disease.
We need more people in the medical profession that understand this disease.

When you have a chance, take a look at the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?...Start Here." It is full of good information, including a section on detox.
It is a good idea to start some daily detoxing.
A few that I do:

Drink plenty of water daily - 6-8 glasses. Squeeze lemon juice into a few of them.
Dry brush my skin, before a warm bath with epsom salts. (I do this 3-4 days per week)
Take milk thistle seed capsules - this is to detox my liver.
light exercise daily.
eat healthy diet.

Keep coming back to read, post, ask questions. We're here to support your...

Thank you Girlie. I read through that thread and found it VERY helpful and made out a full list of my symptoms. I am glad that I found this forum with kind people like you all that actually believe me. I drink a lot of water as well because I am constantly hot or thirsty now more than often.

LittleCupcake - Sorry! I told you to start a new thread to look for a LLMD - and I just noticed that this thread is titled appropriately...

A symptom list is good to keep and take with you to your LLMD appt. Also start making a list of questions you have for him/her.
