Sore Strep Throat.... AHH!!! Why am I sick AGAIN??

My throat is.... really painful. I don't have white spots, it's just the entire back of my throat is whitish colored, tonsils and everything. Hurts so bad I couldn't sleep. My son has it too :( He had a negative strep test yesterday. But it was just the quick test so they are culturing it. We'll see.

I've had issues with this all my life. And it seems that my poor son is following in my foot steps. There has always been a question of if he got lyme from me.. His doctor is on board with testing him through Igenex. So I'll probably be doing that soon :(

Am I supposed to stop lyme treatment every time I get sick with something else? A couple weeks ago it was the flu and it almost killed me. Now this already :( I can't catch a break..

Have any of you had issues with sore throats? I was treated for strep probably 30 times before I was 10 years old. I didn't stop getting strep weekly or monthly until I was about 14, right when I start menstruating. Then I got a new set of symptoms to deal with all the time. Ugh... I've been thinking lately I've probably been sick for alot longer than I give myself credit for.

It's not like candida at all. It's not thick. It makes everything look really pink back there. Like.... hm. How do I explain it.... I have big red veins that are super visible and it almost looks like a grey film is coating everything. It's not bright white.

No idea why they've never taken them out. My LLND at my first visit looked at them and said that I should get them out without even knowing my history. They are huge. THey swell up all the time and touch eachother and make me gag and I can't swallow right. Any doctor that has ever looked down my throat has said the same thing even when I didn't have a sore throat. That they just don't look right and they are way too big.

I get the tonsil stones and chunks of my tonsils fall off all the time. They will be covered in craters just to have it all grow back bigger and bigger everything. My younger brother has the same issue too he just got his out last summer. He is always telling me how much better he feels without them. I'm just terrified of going through another surgery with how sick I already am. Last surgery took so much out of me and I've had heart problems ever since when I never did before. I'm just terrified of surgery.... Otherwise I'd probably make an appointment right now!
