Yup, I think you are dealing with ugly bartonella.
I have a question for you, Dave: about plantar fascitis: Has it always been with you, or it is something that has happened after you got bit? my 10 yr old son has lots of problems with one of his ankles now, because his foot turned and his ankle bent a little. But he was completely normal for 9 years and this foot issue happend after he was bit.
So I am curious to know what your experience has been with this. Thank you!
Simela, it has not always been with me, I have had some foot pain here and there, particularly when running or playing sports for the last several years, but within the last 1.5 years it definitely got worse. I was diagnosed with PF by my Podiatrist as I have a very high arch and tight calf muscles etc. It went away after 4-6 months but came back with burning feet and the bottoms of my feet were much more painful. I roll my foot on a golfball and stretch it but nothing helps that much. Could it be a combo of my biomechanics and Bart? Possibly. I have a misaligned hip which I am working on like hell to get realigned.
Astroman- I have sports related injuries as well. I wish like ANYTHING that I didn't have these injuries because then I could know for sure if it was definitely the Lyme/Bart or a combination of infection/injuries.
Question for the group: do you find that those who have previous injuries are much worse with Lyme or any co-infections or does it not really affect your injuries that much?
