I was so sure that I would just keep feeling better because I had so many sx go away. But I keep on falling back into the lyme pit.
And the way I can feel good for a few hours and then COMPLETELY exhausted like I am drugged and so groggy is crazy. And I can not walk for more than a few hours or less each day---then I am wiped out.


I just can't keep this up for years and years. I am just done with it all. I should try to get an appt. to see my doctor--I need help.

Maybe it is time for a shift in your treatment protocol.

Are you really walking for a few hours or is that a typo? Because aerobic exercise will lower your T-cells significantly.

Also remember that the change in seasons is a hard challenge to the immune system.

You will feel better again. I have the same thing, up and then down. When I am up I feel like yippee I am on the road and getting better, but then I go down again. Try to remember that you will feel good again.

Is this typical for lymies. I slept very late then got up to do my IV infusion and eat. Then felt really good with no lyme sx. So I dressed and went to an evening church service. When I got home I was so weak and exhausted I could barely walk to the elevator and had to stop several times in the hall just to re charge. I was WIPED OUT.
I was hungry too but had to wait to eat cause I could barely move cause I was so drained.(There are no words to describe this stuff)

Now this is a common thing for me. I can feel well w/o lyme sx but after going somewhere--and not pushing myself--I am always drained. Sometimes I need to sleep for a few hours just to get energy back.

Is this normal for lyme?

No one understands that feeling unless they're sick. I feel the same. I get to a point in the day and then I can't function. I can barely drive home. My brain hurts, I'm exhausted and I can barely walk up the stairs. Then I go right to my bed. On the weekends I am in bed by 3pm to rest. I have nothing left in me. I go to a specialist next month. If he can't make me better, I don't know how I can live like this either......There is nothing to enjoy. Too sick and to tired.....

I wonder why I don't get the fatigue. It must be horrible.

I have a lot of pain instead... not fun either.

Don't know which one is worse.

Unfortunately, this is all too typical for Lyme. It is like being stuck on a roller coaster ride you did not want to get on. I'm sorry!

Hopefully, the ride starts to ease up and level out. I hope you find the right meds soon SueG! It's hard to do much with so little energy. Hang in there and know that we're thinking of you. You're not alone!

A few weeks after I started the IV meds I started to feel so much better. Many sx like twitching, sharp thigh pain, shooting pain in back of shin, numbness in legs or fingers and many others are improving or gone!

But still I have extreme fatigue and weak unsteady walking and these both overshadow everything. So I have less sx but the ones still here are not moving!

Another lyme friend said this m/b babesia which I have. What do you all think? (Maybe the IV hit the lyme and all the leftover stuff is a coinfection?
