C6 Peptide Test Versus IGG and IGM Western Blot

I tested positive for anaplasmosis and negative for Lyme with a Western Blot Test, A few months later
I was given a C6 Peptide test and it was positive.

I just saw a specialist and he said he could not tell how long I was infected from a C6 Peptide test but
I unequivocally have Lyme with a high infection rate. He also said that as sick as I was, it was the sickest
I will be and even after 5 months of no meds the Lyme bacteria is the same.

I am taking biaxin and plaquenil once a day and then will double the dose this week. If I get sick, I take
3 days off and start slow again. This is for 90 days and then see what has transpired.

It sounds so simple and the whole theory is that the 2 drugs together will make the the body alkaline.

I am still hopeful.....

Thanks. I was just curious if anyone else had knowledge about the western blot being able to tell
how long one was infected with Lyme. Of all the months I have been reading about Lyme and testing,
I never heard that you could determine the length of infection. Maybe it's a titer that gives a clue.
