Hi lymePrikle.
I know that you got infected through a friend's tear. I just want to know if the tear just fell on your bear skin or in an open wound like a little scratch?
I ask because it is still in the back of my head that i must have given something to my son through my sweat and saliva. I don't even know what tha tick injected inside of me. My son is toooooooo active and does not sit still not even to eat. He does not seems to focus (when not interested). He now cries for anything that he can not accomplish or anything he wants. He is four and gets obsessed with stuff. I do not know if this is normal behavior for an active child. He is my only child. He can communicate and have conversations that amazes people in the street. He speaks two languages. He takes a screw driver and can unscrew and take appart toys since he was two. My husband is a Maintenance Engineer, he is always fixing stuff, and my son is always "helping him".
I just don't know what to think. He did get bit by three fleas a year ago. I took him to a pediatric ID and did a Bartonela test after I insisted. Negative of course, but we know better. His Pediatrician thinks that I overreact.

I think Fleas can carry Lyme and co-infections, too. When did your son start acting different?

FYI, Lyme is no longer called a tick borne disease, because many drs agree ticks are not the only insects responsible for transmitting these infections.

I can not really tell. He was two when I got bit in 2013, and three when he got bit around March 2014 (we were visiting a dog place when he got what i identified as flea bites. Two on his arm and one on his back).
On 2013 (when i got bit) he would have episodes where he would tell me that his tommy hurt. This lasted about five minutes so I thought that it was gass related. He had night terror that same year, never before had them, nor has he got them again. I also remember seeing him limping in 2013, in two occasions and for a few minutes only. His feces looked just like mine, with black little dots in 2013, weird. I am afraid that when the tick borne disease was spreading in my body, somehow I gave him something, What???, that is the million dollar question. His bones pop just like mine.
I was treating him with the Buhner lyme protocol, but nothing changed. I am going to do the Buhner's Bartonela protocol for him.

Did you breast feed him AFTER you got bit? Probably not, he was 2 by then.

From my experience, these symptoms in children do change from time to time. I had the bone popping too, but that resolved with treatment. I think you are on the right track. ADD the barto protocol. I think you worry to much about you giving it too him. I think it is most likely he got it from the fleas. I gave birth to 2 kids after I got infected, we shared the same blood, I even breastfed them and they didn't have any symptoms of lyme and everything with them has been 100% normal.

Tummy and inappropriate behavior, based on my kids, it's from Barto more than Lyme. As soon as I started Houtt, my 5 yr old became the angel that used to be. She made the most progress with Buhner protocol which is expected, because she was infected for the shortest period of time. She still has about 3 symptoms left, but is now fully functional 99% of the time.We saw very good results within 2 months with Buhner protocol for Lyme to which I added some of the Barto Buhner herbs but not all. I expect the behavior stuff to be the LAST thing that will improve.

Thank you Simela1. Coming from another mother i feel a little more confident now. I feel so bad that these bacteria have to infect our little ones while in the uterus. Sorry that you and your little ones have to deal with this crazyness. But you seem to be on the right track and in control. Good.
No, I did not breast feed him. I had a C-section and he was introduced to the bottle at the hospital, so on the third day, he rejected my breast.
I pumped one ounce for two hours everyday for a whole month....then I dried up.
Good thing because i was planning to breast feed up to three years of age.
Yes, that is what i think he may have, Bart. He has gotten too sensitive, is a very busy child, not organized (when he was one, he used to put everything where it belonged, I taught him that and he was great at that). Now i have to repeately tell him to organize his toys. He also gets this rage. I have to be a little tough on him and it is killing me because I know that his behavior may not be his fault.
I will put him on the Bart protocol, and resume the lyme protocol.

PS...thank you for the correction on lyme not being a TBD, it all makes sence.

Hello! Sorry i missed this post! I don't know why the post was edited.

I got infected by a tear... I really don't want to go into all the details again... (I know I told Traveler and some other members on here may remember too).

But basically I met someone with Lyme disease, she had a tear that came from her eye while we were eating supper and she wiped the tear with her finger (used her index finger). I showed her something on my phone literally 5 mins later (bad idea to let other people touch your stuff). So I assume the germs got on my fingers, they then got transmitted to my lips by complete accident. (I didn't wash my hands, which was really stupid, and I usually always wash my hands!) I know this because my very first symptom was just 24 hours later and it felt like my lips were vibrating... (or breathing)... From there it went systemic and I got other symptoms. I already knew that this person I met has Lyme disease and it was a pretty big deal to her, but when I met her she didn't really seem that sick... She was untreated and not even actively treating her infection. So that may partly explain why I got this.

To be honest I doubt it can be transmitted from a tear onto unbroken skin... but who knows it could be possible but probably unlikely. But these are spirochetes and who knows if they have enough energy they could have enough strength to spiral in. Other spriochetes can be passed on unbroken skin like for example syphillis... But again it's thinner skin right? The genital area or the mouth. Keep in mind the skin on the lips is very very thin, and who knows the weather was dry so maybe there were even a few breaks in the skin. It could possibly be transmitted in bodily fluids... but then those bodily fluids would have to come in contact with the right area of the body for example the mouth, eyes, maybe the nose (I know I read staph can get in this way), and I am also guessing maybe the genitals. Or perhaps a place where there is a cut or break in the skin.

It was just bad luck from me and a strange and bizaree accident... But I'm sure it happened like this. It probably doesn't happen very often. I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one out there though.

Wao, thanks a million LymePrickle. I see now how you got infected. I thought that the tear just fell on your arm and the spiroquete drilled though your pores into your blood stream. But it makes sence that unfortunatelly it was in contact with your lips, by the mouth... Easy entrance. So with tha said, it is possible that i gave my son something via saliva. If I was eating food and my son wanted some, I would just give him some from my spoon. Also when i was feeding him, i would blow on his food on the spoon because it was too hot. I was not treating at that time and these disease were spreading in my body.
