I've always had issues with this (since around the time of my suspected tick bite), but never has it been this bad. Literally nothing helps - I've tried coconut oil, lanolin, just about
every sensitive skin cream on the market, but to no avail. The skin on my hands is particularly bad, despite washing my hands sparingly and using aqueous cream as soap (or no soap at all). I'm hoping anyone else dealing with super sensitive skin can give me some recommendations/ideas of what to do when it gets this bad.
I'm also wondering if this might be connected with Bartonella die off? Is dry skin a symptom any of you have experienced with Bartonella?
This all started about
5 days after I introduced Pyrimethamine into my treatment regime, and apparently that is predominantly used to treat Bartonella.
Edit: Things have settled down somewhat, as I think my body has adjusted to having the Pyrimethamine in my system. Considering skin issues are one of my long standing symptoms, could a flare up be part of a herx?
