Instead of words of wisdom, I have some words from experience:
I can come at this from a different perspective - not only have I healed, but I raised two kids while untreated, and let me ease your and any other parent's concerns about
not being a good parent while you are sick and treating - my now adult kids have told me many times that they obviously wished I hadn't been sick all the time, but that they understood that I was doing all I could to be there for them and do the things I felt I needed to do as the parent. Even without a diagnosis, they understood that I was sick and was doing all I could. They NEVER felt like I should be doing more for them - even when I was bedridden and they were doing for me!
Triplet Momma, you didn't say how old your babies are, but if they are quite young still, you've got a LOT of work on your hands daily raising that many kids all the same age!! Never, ever doubt that you put in your "fair share" of work daily!!! And to top it off, your sick!!!
As long as you aren't nursing a child, never worry about
how many meds you may need to stay at least mostly functional!!! Find and use what you need to in order to keep up with those kids and whatever else you have to do! I was on quite a few (13) at one point for pain, inflammation, muscle spasms (mine got really bad), anxiety, and other symptoms - then switched to herbs and was able to drop those prescript
ions. The bottom line is to use what you need to keep yourself functional.
Don't look at the "big picture" or long range unless you need to. concentrate on just one day at a time. Looking down the road when you already feel so overwhelmed won't help you (unless you have to plan something), it just seems to amplify my issues when I did. I made myself only think about
getting through each day - and doing all I could to make a little more progress.
And keep posting here when you can!! It's a great place to find understanding and support!!!
(((((((hugs))))))) I hope that you begin to feel better soon!!!
