Brucella question....Protocol for and medicine.

Hi everyone, I'm wondering about Brucella. I showed up positive for it on a test by an LLMD (These highly acclaimed hospitals in Boston never tested me). Anyways, Buhner does recommend an herbal protocol. I've heard such wonderful things about Buhner and, I believe he's quite amazing. All of his other protocols are life saving for many. Though, I'm not so sure about his protocol for Brucella.
Does anyone know a good herbal protocol for Brucella? Or, does this particular disease have to be killed off by antibiotics? Also I took five months of Rifampin and Minocycline. Three of those months were with Plaquinel. Would that have done anything? Do you need the Streptomycin? Is that enough for Brucella...thanks!!!!!

Btw. You guys are literally the best message board on the Internet, and this is due to the velocity of response, the profound support, that heals some of the wounds of what society gives to us Lymies. I cannot thank you enough. I'm trying to answer others' questions as well.

Thank you for the response, I didn't really understand that website. It also seemed to be geared mostly to Bartonella and science. I am looking for a simple protocol list. However, I am always incredibly grateful for all the help from people in the Lyme community. It's hard for me to read science with this brain fog lol.

you're welcome, I took you to that page of the site because it talks about brucella. But if you want to see the protocol you'll have to click on the upper left corner and go to the actual protocol...it's not as complicated as it seems at first glance. You just have to read it through.

I'm tellin ya, getting rid of these infections is really hard, especially if you want to REALLY get rid of everything... Having all that science and information is helpful, especially as you go thru treatment. It helps you understand better how the body works and why you're feeling the way you feel. And what's happening.
