Does anyone with Lyme have High levels of Ebstien Barr Virus like me?

My experiences w/ reactivated EBV are almost exactly as Traveler's. One I'm overcome overnight w/ extreme fatigue (I am too tired to eat), it's usually a high viral load.

Also, studies have shown that 80 to 90 percent of adults have EBV. Half of children contract it by the age of 7 or so. Most people don't ever exhibit sx but can pass it to others. It's one of the most prolific viruses there is. I've also read that anyone who had chicken pox has EBV. EBV is part of some herpes strains.

LOL! yeah, just a big of lag time!! LOL! I was sick as a dog too, with very high stress levels in my life during that time - but I survived it to go on to heal and still stick around here to pester everyone!! Giggle!

And EBV is Herpes type 4 virus - there are 8 types currently.

When my lyme doc ordered blood work that included EBV and HHV6, the results were:

EBV = 8.00 (>1.00 is positive)
HHV6 = 5.88 (>1.00 is positive)

The doc stated that in 30 years of practice she'd never seen numbers that high and didn't know how I was still standing, much less walking around. :)
