My Lyme diet was very different from what I follow now. I only ate healthy on my Lyme diet, I didn't necessarily avoid any food group, not even milk - although it was goat milk products only. Even when I showed signs of candida, I stayed on my diet and healed.
My diet now is very different. I've discovered I have food allergies to soy and MSG and a few of it's derivatives - which is just
lovely to avoid in today's society. And, I'm on a diet that is supposed to help the adrenals heal - high protein, low carb, which I've always felt better on anyway. So my diet is more restrictive now that when I was healing from Lyme.
Do I cheat? Yes - and like Bellyfull, I pay for it!!!
And Bellyfull - try out goat milk products, you likely won't have the issues with it because it's much easier to tolerate for those that are lactose intolerant. Or go for frozen kefir instead of ice cream!!!
