Hello.

I'm the batteler since 2012. tested by Borrelia elispot in germany positive.
Had many courses of different abx. IV ceftriaxone; 45 days doxy+ tinidazole
last august 8 weeks in minocycline 2*100 per day; azitro 3*500 per week, artemisia 4*200 per day and it was very effective. at the end ( 6-8 weeks) no symptoms and it lasted about 4 months....

at the moment my worst worry are eyes: almost all symptoms which lyme can course and brain fog.

Could anybody share experiences what helped with eye-problems the most? AB or herbal... anything. Just I'm very very tired of that. Only want to lie down with closed eyes.
Have heared that rifampicine has had good efect into brain and eyes problem..

only thing I'm using at the moment is cinnamon oil with olive oil - 40 drops into 30 ml oil and 3*10 drops per day. since 6th march. 2 last weeks in May I felt that smth is happening and got clear vision, no pressure .. but it was olny for 2 weeks...

Hi Makuke,

My eyes were very affected. My eyesight kept getting worse and worse, I would get conjunctivitis, keratitis ( inflammation of the corneas), light sensitivity, etc. These symptoms started disappearing once I progressed with treatment ( abx at the beginning).

I have
like fog in eyes
Eye pain
Pressure sensation behind eyes
Red eyes
Slowed accommodation (switching focus from far to near, near to far)
Spots or floaters not related to migraines
lazy right eye, hard to focus with both eyes

most effective for eyes have been so far tinidazole and metronidazol ( flagyl).
and of course I felt relieve after 8 week treatment with minocycline+azitromycine. but pressure and all other problems left in this case in 7 or 8 week.

ohh I know what You felt - I dropped 3 days 3* 1 drops both eyes and today I'm dying..

yes 3*1 per day into both eye...I assume that it was too much.
