So, wanted to give an update on my progress and get some more advice. I've been on 400mg Doxy / day since 05/12/15. It's a 60 day dose, so I'm getting there. My insomnia is finally under control and I currently don't have any symptoms left at all. My tooth soreness was the last thing to go and stuck around for a while! Before starting antibiotics, I was having horrible insomnia, fatigue, head pressure, sinus pressure, and teeth soreness. Those were my symptoms. It all started on 04/12/15 with horrible insomnia, then everything else came along with it. I saw an LLMD on 05/12/15 after much frustration with my primary and ended up in the ER twice with no help from anyone. The LLMD immediately had started me on the doxy 400mg / day. My primary had run a Lyme test in early May through Quest which showed only 41kd IGG as reactive. My LLMD ran the test again through LabCorp a week later with the same 41kg IGG band being the only one reactive. I have another appointment with my LLDM this Thursday, so I will be able to get some more insight from him, but last week my primary had me do another Western Blot through Quest and now the only reactive band is 39kd IGG with all the rest non-reactive and negative. Is it normal for reactive bands to change like this throughout treatment? And, if the treatment is successful, will my bands ever all be non-reactive and negative again or will something always show on the Western Blot going forward, even if I don't have symptoms? Just curious if this is of any significance.
