awesome. We just have to keep building awareness with the medical community of the true scope of the problem. Eventually a broad awareness will develop as it becomes more accepted, but it is a slow slow transition. I believe it could take a while, but I HOPE it happens quickly.
Sadly, it might happen quickly, but only because such a massive number of people get sick that it will push the floodgates of consciousness on this issue. Would be nice if we could've avoided this problem if IDSA CDC had actually acknowledged the depth/breadth/potential severity of this problem in the first place. Would've saved a lot of people a lot of unnecessary suffering, and probably saved our country billions in lost output and costs from medical complications. Treating people with long standing lyme/coinfections is expensive, but I think it's more expensive to not treat them and misdiagnose them and have them go thru symptom managing operations/drugs that don't end up treating the root problem.
