My wife and I are considering testing our daughter for lyme through igenex.
My question is, do insurance companies cover the price of the test?
My daughter is covered under Medicaid.
I have Aetna insurance and I'm thinking about
testing for coinfections, does anyone know if that is covered?
Thanks!

Every insurance company is different and I'm not sure what Medicaid would cover. However I submitted my igenex to my insurance and they paid part as out of network provider. Igenex does not take any insurance so u will have to submit yourself.

You would have to call your insurance company. Every out of network policy is different. Even each company has different policies and rules under the same company.

It's not likely, at least not for Igenex, but it's worth checking with them just in case. Here is something that might help too:

Mine went to OON deductible. Depending on how high yours is you may receive some back.
Worth every penny to have this testing done. Let us know your outcome.
