He drew blood for Igenex and wanted to put me on doxy and I told him about how swimming in cold lake water relieves my symptoms. You can't be in sun on docy. He put me on Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg 1 x a day and Clarithromycin 250 mg 2 tablets 2 x's a day. I go back in 3 weeks for the test results but he said with my symptoms he would be extremely surprised if it is not Lyme.

I love him. 1 hour visit and my brain is full of information.

Also my doc said that with Lyme it heads right to your weak spot. I have bad knees so that is where it went first. I guess I have a bad brain because I have had head pain for a long time. And, last but not least I get a very rapid heart beat. He is so cool. He said, "we will really watch this one."

So very glad to start on a path to being well. He told me not to be too optimistic that some heal in 6 months and some in 2 years.

I have a new job. Get healthy again. I am so glad to start but scared of the depression that sets in when time passes and I don't see results fast enough. I am my worse enemy.

Ummmmm....we very much relate to this. Lyme travel seems to be backwards sometimes and it's certainly not from lack of effort.
