Sailorkim - Did you see my question re: taking biaxin and zithro together? I know it's OT, but I'm wondering about the fact that you are taking two abx from the same class together (macrolides) - that is not a usual combination.

Also—was curious if you are on an anti fungal regimen?

I get that kind of dissension and GI discomfort. It's due to constipation, inflammation and sometimes, yeast overgrowth (which can happen in a matter of minutes, believe it or not). I can go for days w/out having a BM but taking probiotics and tart cherry juice and makes me so regular, I go almost after every meal. It's like magic. And my anti fungal regimen is pretty tight and prevents those issues too.

WOW! With a combination like in the "MOM bomb", is that really necessary for most of us??

OK, this is a little out of left field, but get some "diet" ice cream. Make sure it has sorbitol in it. works as a laxative.
