Utah - I don't remember your symptoms -but would an autoimmune disorder fit?

When I list my symptoms...I'm not sure even an autoimmune disorder would explain it...I mean my symptoms affected every system/function of my body...that would be one he-- of an autoimmune disorder...

I also don't remember if you saw a tick on you?

Have you tried treating the co's - bart and babs. I remember Rowingmom mentioning asymptomatic Babesia - I'm trying to remember - did she try the buhner Cryptolepis before she gave it to her daughter (as she did with all the herbs)...and she herxed?

Have you had high ANA?

Hey utah!! I'm not surprised at all that you don't feel any different. I was told sometime around the 3rd or 4th month you should expect some changes. It's so vastly different for every single one of us.

Rocephin only treats spirochetes. It makes me wonder if they changed from and are hiding out. Maybe adding a cyst buster like Flagyl or biofilm buster like serrapeptidase.

There are so many reasons why you aren't seeing any changes its really hard to tell. But my guess would be that you don't have a lot of spirochetes.

I do take IV flagyl with the rocephin. I also do serraptase for biofilm.

I have not herxed on any meds or herbs. Is that normal? Do most of you herx?

I just feel worse on my meds. Not a herx, just constant yuck. It's never followed by improvement. None. I've not improved once in the entire year of treatment.

My kid is not improving either. This is so frustrating!

Ok. Maybe I'm just being impatient. Maybe I'm expecting too much as 6 weeks.

I don't have pain. Only neuro.....anxiety attacks, insomnia, fatigue, brain fog, severe leg and body weakness.

Maybe it just takes longer......

Well Utah, sounds like you need to try the bee venom therapy, this might be a good sign. It puts your body back in balance, the hormones and everything else.

Autoimmune, you know, is a breakdown in the body. The key is finding out what caused it, right?

Something has caused your condition. Maybe vax that had crap in it & began the toppling of your body (I wonder with so many who have traveled, esp military or those with extra innoculatios given as a child).

Maybe, like your dog, it is LD. And if your body has been had this in your body for years, maybe treatment will be longer.

Or maybe other crazy areas (mold, what-have-u) still haven't been uncovered. I dunno. I have not had the big time treatment you have, but I question, challenge & share your anxiety. The only difference with me is that 1 yr ago I can say I was worse off, & that I can see improvement--Not as much as I would want, but better than b4.

I just read an article that explained how Lyme syndrome IS autoimmune...

My 'LYME' specific bugs are gone, but I have permanent damage to my cellular ability which results in autoimmune...

Also, if you have the mthfr gene mutation like me, then theres no cure only treatment of the damage done by the many years of having Lyme bacteria undetected!!!

Hi Utahgal- I'm just throwing stuff out there for you. In my situation, my pain has mostly resolved but I still have unrelenting extreme fatigue. Nothing has touched it - I've tried all sorts of different treatments. My latest is Babesia which I've been treating for a few months so far - like Sarahm620 said my doc also believes it must be treated thru a red blood cell life cycle of 4-5 months. While I've noticed slight improvement with sweats/chills/coughing, still I have extreme fatigue. My doc is moving towards parasites now. Separately, my husband's recovery is also stalled - he has a different doc - and she is also doing a parasite protocol on him. I thought it was interesting that our two different LLMDs are coming to a similar place now that both our recoveries are stalled. Long winded comment to ask you if you've considered parasites. Might be worth asking about.
