high liver ALT - 110. Anyone had this?

I've been on antibiotics for 5 months. My liver enzymes are now very high, ALT is 110 and has been for several weeks. I am worried my doc will take me off of antibiotics because of this. Yet, to my knowledge, antibiotics usually don't cause this? I've been on Ceftin and Clarithromycin. I can't think of anything else that would cause this. I'm on supplements, and in fact I do detoxing that should be helping my liver.

The ALT range = < 50

My ALT was 29 last September - a couple of months into antibiotic treatment.

It went to 101 end of April (slowly climbing along the way)...and I stopped abx for 2 1/2 months. They were back down a month later when I tested.
I restarted abx middle of April and three weeks later, my ALT is still good.

I suspect i will see it climb again now that I'm on Rifampin and mino.

I recently watched a Webinar about bartonella treatment - it was posted on here. The Dr. said that the treatment for bart can cause high liver enzymes - due to the bacteria dying near and in the liver...as bartonella 'likes' the liver.

So, even though I wasn't on rifampin, it did seem like the previous abx were doing some killing, as my rib and foot pain got better on them (plus I was doing Buhner's bart protocol) - so perhaps my rise in liver enzymes were due to the 'killing' of bart.

My liver and Kidney are messed up when I go on antibiotics. Anyone take something for kidney support? I take a liver blend that has milk thistle and dandelion.

My kidneys actually ache sometimes. I think my left kidney has Lyme.
