I've had a SED rate of over 100, with a normal CRP. These markers are generic markers for inflammation in the body and don't really tell anything more specific than that (such as where the inflammation is, or why it is occurring).
Lyme plays havoc with the body's immune system, and then if you have other coinfections, then things really can get scrambled up. So these inflammatory markers may not be all that revealing in this setting...
