I just got my monthly cycle and have horrible cramps and I want to know if it is safe to take ibuprofen with Samento & Banderol??


I usually take ibuprofen for my cramps but just started treatment 3 1/2 weeks ago.. so this is my first period since starting treatment...

In his book "The Lyme Disease Solution", LLMD Ken Singleton recommends against extensive use of NSAIDs such as ibuprofen because their use can result in diminished immune function.

He recommends doses no higher than 200-400 mg 2-3 times/day. It's doses ranging from 1600-2400mg/day that he says might increase chances of immune suppression that may limit the immune system's ability to contain the infections.

Have you ever tried boswellia? That's my go-to herb for pain.

Taking curcumin on a regular basis helps lower inflammation overall...

I took one and the dosage is only 200 mg and I will only need 1 or 2 of them for the day. It's only the first day of my cycle that I require ibuprofen for my cramps. So I should be ok with the 200mg once or twice that day, one day of the month, I think.

We like to use turmeric/curcumin and or ginger to alleviate pain..... Be it cramps, headaches... Whatever.

Last month my daughter had cramps, she took 2 ginger caps and was back to her happy teenage self :)
