I have been sick since 2008, on treatment only for the first 2 years,the past few years symptoms comes and goes,i think I have to go back for the treatment now,since like this stuff never ending,how long should I on the treatment and will lyme can really be cure ??

While no one knows why Lyme symptoms come and go, that feature is a major diagnostic tool.

ILADS recommends treating for 2 months beyond full resolution of symptoms.

Sorry to say, it doesn't sound like that happened when you were first treated.

Lyme can't really be cured (except for those who were treated aggressively immediately after the tick bite). But, it can be put into remission.

Are you seeing a LLMD?

I just wanted to pop in here and welcome you as you have been given good information by CD already. It takes both solid proven treatments- often with multiple abx (antibiotics) and many times herbal protocols as well.

Welcome. I just want to also chime in to let you know of a treatment that a few of us are doing with good success. It is Bee Venom Therapy, you actually get stung by love bees 3 times a week. There is a written protocol. There is a substance in only in Honey Bee Venom called Mellitin that perferates that bacterial cells and makes them burst and die without disrupting surrounding tissues. Another substance called apmin that crosses the blood brain barrier. I am in my 8th week, done a total of 104 stings.
If you would like more info and have Facebook there are is a group called Pionees: Healing Lyme with Bee Venom Therapy, it is a closed group but you can request to be added. The apitherapist there has been treating folks for over 22 years. Recently there have been some LLMD's getting on board with this treatment as well.
