Can bee pollen cause a herx?

I started using it for my immune system.

I took 2 tsp. this morning.

I feel kinda funny today, although I might be herxing from something else.

I am not having an allergic reaction, or anything like an allergic reaction.

Just fatigue, and that herxy kinda feeling.

Also, a numb mouth (tonight, not when I actually ate the pollen).

I would say it could. The chemical structure of bee pollen is a polyphenol. Mepron is a polyphenol. They are substituted differently and are metabolized slightly differently, but they seem to help with whatever protozoan I have. Before I got my methylation pathway working better, any polyphenol would cause a herx. I think my system just bogged down and became over loaded. After I methylated better, it did not cause an issue. For me, it seems the mutations I have to my methyltransferases (BHMT's) are part of the issue.

I believe I've had the numbness whenever metals were moved.

It could have also been the cold I got today, plus, I've been eating too much sugar.

I am taking Deplin, but need to add Pycegenol etc. etc.

I guess I'd better continue taking the bee pollen for the cold. I do think it caused, at the very least, a slight herx.

Definitely caused a huge herx when I used 1 tbsp. Not a good idea to take that much.

Georgia Hunter how did you get your methalation pathway working better. I just feel more toxic when I take HomocysteineX?
