Sorry! It isn't my doctor, it's a retired LLMD who will give free advice. I think he was away for a few weeks based on forum posts. Will give him a call this week.

It's okay, Unefaune - we just like to be extra careful is all. We need all the doctors we can get!!

I would say that if you were treated for that long for Anaplasma and haven't healed that alone is quite a bit of evidence for an underlying issue, like another infection or maybe another condition. It will be well worth your time to get in to see a good LLMD if you can.

Unefaune - I have spoken with Dr. M. twice - prior to my diagnosis. He is a very busy man, but I'm sure he will get back to you when he can.

I hope you do decide to see LLMD or LLND soon.

Unefaune: I spoke with Dr M last week. I faxed him my questionnaire from his website. Didn't hear back and then send an email to confirm he received it. He replied promptly asking me to call him. I called him and we spoke for less than 20 mins, he asked me about my test results and symptoms. I felt like he hadn't even read the questionnaire which was very detailed. Then for most of the convo he talked about CBD oil and how it's healed all the people he has recommended it to. He was very pro CBD oil and didn't really speak much about herbal remedies. A nice man but I was a little bit disappointed.

sunfun123 - that's too bad you had a disappointing discussion with Dr. M. I do know that he doesn't say much about herbal remedies. He does talk about CBD oil as there has been a lot of research lately on it. He did use something - not sure if it was Nabilone (synthetic marijuana - Pharmaceutical) or CBD oil - he used when a tumor was discovered on his brain. MRI later on showed it had shrunk (disappeared)
I have read statements of his saying there is lack of evidence regarding herbal remedies for lyme disease.
So, not pro herbals at this point anyway.
He is still fighting, though, to increase awareness and treatment of Chronic lyme here in Canada...and that's a good thing.

I know Girlie sad I was really hoping it would clear up some of my confusion as i don't have the hallmark symptoms of Lyme. I just felt like it was all about CBD oil. I do appreciate that he is offering his time free of charge and is very dedicated to the cause. It is absolutely a good thing to have someone fighting for all who are suffering. I just thought he at least would have looked at my questionnaire and be familiar with my situation before I called. Anyway sorry to hijack the thread, but if you need a second opinion, why not contact him, especially since it's free.

That's disappointing, sunfun123. You're right though, it's free advice, why not.
