Macha - I edited your post to remove your email address. We can't post them - as non members can see these posts..and you would end up with a ton of spam.

Instead, you can enable your email option. Only forum members have access to it.
To enable:

Did you get any Doctors names yet? How did your appointment at the hospital go today?

I go to a doctor in Milwaukee, but he is not accepting new patients until December. Also, I am not "healed" yet, but I feel like he know what he is doing.

Let me know if you would like his name.

No I haven't gotten any names yet. I went to a neurologist today.they have to get a new mri/mra done tomorrow. They keep insisting it might be something to do with my arteries or veins or something. It getting disappointing and scary to be honest.

I'll email you. I went to a Nero too. He tested me for everything under the sun via blood tests, CT & multiple MRIs. At my last appt he told me there was nothing else to test me for & sent me away with two RXs for vitamins. eyes

We were in Door County and about 1-2 weeks after we got home I came down with what I thought was strep. I went to urgent care and both the rapid test and full blown test were negative. I got better but wasn't back to 100%. I kept getting sick like that through April.

In November I woke up one day and my left upper arm hurt. It's still hard to do anything with that arm. If I lift it above a 45 degree angle, I'm in a lot of pain. The muscles have now completely atrophied.

Sometime last winter my mind started going... brain fog, confusion (two times I forgot which pedal was the gas and which was the brake when I was leaving a parking space).

In January I saw my eye doctor and my vision had gotten significantly worse. She chalked it up to age. I've only had glasses for 2 years and only to read.

Also in January I started getting tremors in my head and left hand. I don't have them all the time. They're cyclical like all my other symptoms. I also started getting excruciating migraines. Prior to that, I never had headaches.

My MRIs showed scattered periventricular white matter. The Neuro said migraines could cause that. I reminded him that I never had migraines before, so then he said it wasn't in a typical MS pattern but he couldn't tell me what caused it.

He gave me a med for the tremors. I didn't feel right taking it because all he told me (after my MRIs) was it's benign essential tremor and some people just get that. That answer wasn't acceptable to me. Up until last Fall I had been a healthy, fully functioning person. I've had previous surgeries, but for structural issues, not due to illness.

In Feb., I was DXd with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's. All my symptoms didn't add up to just those two diseases. There were some symptoms that wouldn't have been caused by thyroid issues, so I started digging for the root cause and found lyme.

Probably more than you wanted to know. I tend to ramble. :)
