Spleen/liver support while treating babesia

 

Has anyone taken herbs to help support their spleen/liver while treating babesia?  I have an ultrasound for my spleen soon because I believe the babesia has caused inflammation and/or possible damage.

I'd like to start Buhner herbs, maybe red root or salvia miltiorrhiza that he recommends in his babesia book. 

Has anyone had experience w/ either herb?

I'm really worried about the spleen pain I've been having. I'm scared about what the babesia has done to my body.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok- just ordered Dan-shen and should get it soon. I'm interested to see if it does alleviate the spleen pain I've been having. I also have periodic lower back pain as well. Thanks for the input Mister Mike :)
