Anyone else wake up to a numb face/neck?

Anyone? I have not heard of anyone else having this and it scares me. The blood rushes back and it feels ice cold. I also get the numb hands and feet, but those don't worry me as much as my head. Should I perhaps visit a cardiologist?

I get numb hands but I think it is because I tuck them under my pillow and lay on them. I rollover and numb the other one. All night long I am like a fish flopping back and forth. I never thought it was lyme. I just thought it was because I was cutting off my circulation to my hand.

I like to sit indian style and I sure can numb my feet that way.

I seem to be my own tourniquet.

Well I know it's related to whatever is going on with me because when I first got sick it was a numb toe that spread into both feet/hands. When it got to my hands I started waking up with the numb face and neck at night. Then it was my arms at night and then feet. I never had any night numbness before it. My feet will go numb even if I lay sleeping on my back now. I so badly want to figure it out. I have read about people with MS having the numb head at night. So that bothers me.

I slept in my daughters bed last night and the numbness wasn't as bad. Is it possible this could be an allergic reaction (or MCAD type thing)? When we first got our mattress I had episodes of itching but it went away after about 6 months. I will randomly get the itching still. The only thing that helped with it was Levoceterizine (sp?). Claritin and other allergy meds never worked.

I found that my symptoms were always worse in the evening/night - possibly because I'm not as busy at those times and I notice them more.

Numbness was one of my main symptoms and I can still herx with facial numbness on the left side. (relatively unnoticeable Bells Palsy was the 3rd issue to develop after I went off the 3 wks of doxy my PCP Rx'd after the tick bite).

I hope you're keeping a symptoms journal - maintaining one has proved invaluable to me throughout this journey.

But limbs going numb at night (esp head) doesn't seem to common on here. I'm trying to figure out if possibly it's a non-lyme issue.

I just happened to see this post and let you know that I had (and still have) limbs go numb at night (specifically my hands and arms). I am pretty certain that for me this IS lyme-related. It never happened when I was healthy and started very suddenly almost every night when I started getting sick. I also paid very close attention to if I was laying on them or doing something to cut off the circulation, and I wasn't. It also doesn't matter what bed I sleep in. Happens all the time and is definitely Lyme for me (but not my head, sorry).
