GH- Thank you for your input again.
I've often wondered about
Mycoplasma and H. pylori - thank you. I will look further into both of those. Although I did take oregano and neem for a full year when I treated the first time and then again for another 5 months when I was reinfected.
"I actually don't have any recommendations for you because I could certainly send you down the wrong road." This is actually what I get told by a lot of my doctors! They have no desire to spend the time to really investigate what's going wrong. I only found one that was even interested in trying to help, and she had to close her practice to go help her parents.
Your words about
my body finding 'status quo' is very relevant, as that's exactly what it did when I lived with Lyme and company for 40 yrs, but that's not good enough for me any more. I 'tasted' real life for one year, and now I want it back - LOL!
I too believe I have compromised detoxing pathways as I had one heck of a time keeping up with the detoxing needs of my body while treating Lyme and company. I have been taking methyl B-12 for years now, and recently started methylfolate - although I'm still on the fence about
how my body is responding to it. So again, your thoughts about
my body finding status quo come back to me.
I don't seem to have any issues with sulfur or sulfur containing products/meds. My first husband had a sulfur allergy, so I learned back then what meds he had to stay away from and realized that I could take them without any issues. I even take sumatriptan for migraines now.
Gregkdc - thank you for your input again as well.
I was taking this Omega supplement (
goo.gl/eOX8F7 as my doc said that Nordic Naturals is the only company that she knows of that is strict enough with their standards that I don't have to be too concerned about
the amount of mercury or other impurities I might get otherwise. But, I simply couldn't keep up with the cost - not when added to the list of things that I already take. It didn't seem to interfere with my thyroid though, so that's good news!! I also have to be careful to avoid soy oil in those fish oil caps.
Finisului! Thank you for your observations as well!! I am on astragalus, although my issues with arthritis started a very, very long time ago. I've known all along that the astragalus could be an issue, as Rowingmom had posted about
her experience with it causing too much inflammation.
I've gone and set off all kinds of issues because of doing too much (

Yeah, you would think I'd learn!!), but I too thought I'd stop the astragalus for a couple of months during the coldest part of the winter here (Jan & Feb) just to be sure that's not what's causing it. Maybe when I'm not having ticks attach, it's too much for my body to be on all the time.
I also know that Rowingmom pulses the astragalus, and I may need to resort to that as well. Now that my brain is working this well, I can actually remember to keep that kind of schedule!!
Again, thank you all for putting up with all of my questions. I can see for sure that there are no easy answers for this - gee what a surprise, I have yet to have anything with easy answers!
