I've had to have extensive dental work done over the course of my infection. I did have symptoms increase, but I wasn't in a position to not have the work done either. So it depends on what you are having done and why, as it is with any procedure while you have Lyme.
You need to remember your body is struggling to beat this on going infection, so any stress on it will lower your immune system and will slow your healing. If it's something you can put off, then I suggest you put it off. But for regular cleanings (prevention of future issues) or if you need to have a tooth pulled or worked on, then do it, as the body won't heal quickly if it's fighting more than one infection or issue.
Also, oil pulling has been known to really increase oral health. Coconut oil has some antibacterial properties.
