Denise -
I am so sorry you're battling a yeast infection, as if you don't have enough going on already.
You shouldn't worry too much about
taking antibiotic along with an anti fungal but the sequence you want is to take the abx first, anti fungal 2nd. You certainly want to space antibiotics and
probiotics hours apart and you want to space binders and everything else hours apart. But an antibiotic is killing bacteria including the good stuff. The good bacteria is what keeps the yeast/fungus in check and when that is also killed off, that's when the yeast/fungus can flourish, which can happen in a matter of hours. The anti fungal also works on contact so it generally immediately kills the y/f that it reaches.
Here's my scenario - most of these are 1/2 hr apart unless otherwise noted:
- thyroid meds first thing
- BW A-Babs
- then I do a first round of detox herb cocktail (milk thistle seed, bur bur, burdock root, parsley, pinella)
- Japanese Knotweed
- eat bkfst
- I do
abx infusions once a day (late AM) and herbal abx in PM
- then wait an hour and do my
antifungals - then wait an hour and take
binders: cholestryramine and chase with bentonite clay (the intent is to eliminate everything I've killed - bacteria and fungus and everything I've detoxed before reloading in the afternoon and certainly before going to bed)
then I repeat everything, trying to squeeze in meals.
after the evening binders I wait 3 hrs and the last thing I do before going to bed is get my
probiotics in so they can do their thing while I sleep.
hope this helps!
