Well, this makes no sense to me. When cutting-edge DNA-based techniques are finding Lyme in the tissues and/or blood of patients given other diagnoses, it's time for people on those other forums to take a look.

I'll let people know whether the link is restored to the MS forum.

At least this time the censorship hasn't ben done by BAE Systems, GCHQ or the NSA. Makes a refreshing change.

I am writing simply to thank you and your colleagues on F1000 for providing a platform for the extraordinary recent research findings of Dr Alan Macdonald, who has found DNA of Borrelia in 1000 consecutive slides of Alzheimer's plaques, and also detected filarial worm stages in CSF of MS patients.

I believe that powerful vested interests have prevented us knowing the true extent of Borrelia and helminth involvement in serious human disease. One day I believe these findings which Dr Macdonald has published on your site will be recognised for their inherent value to mankind. In the meantime, thank you for providing a space where open-minded researchers can view them.

Are any of the US members here able to tell me anything re Dr Kenneth Silk? He is a close collaborator of Prof Tyrer in Uk who has co-authored material with him acknowledging that there is a vocal campaign stating that ME/CFS is a neurological disease, but dismissing it completely and saying that it is just a psychiatric disorder.

Is Dr Silk known to ve specially active in denial of chronic physical illness apart from this?

HappyJo, I do not want to speak further about my children at the moment, not least because of fears for their security from certain Denialists who, in my opinion, would be prepared "to do their own thing" outside of any state-sanctioned persecution against my family.

What I will say (and have said a number of times over the years, in public Lyme forums), is that I am aware of paediatric patients whose Lyme disease was "cured", or at least massively alleviated, following anti-helminthic treatment (which followed antibiotic treatment some weeks earlier).

Dr. Macdonald's latest discovery should highlight the issue of worm infestations in neurological diseases where the cause is "unknown" - or at least, unknown outside of classified arenas.

Yes, it's not easy to find - they co-authored a textbook on psychiatry in which they mentioned the views of the ME/CFS patient community (and many doctors) that it's neurological, then proceeded to rubbish that view.

Thanks for looking. It may be that Dr Silk is not majorly involved in this. But because he is such a close collaborator of Prof Tyrer, a lynchpin of my illegal detention, and because Tyrer is so deeply involved in trying to have a fifth of attendees at British medical clinics tarred as hypochondriacs, I could not help but wonder whether Silk was involved in similar activity in the States.

I received another communication from the parliamentary archive office re the vanished page.

They now say the URL I sent them was incorrect.

I used copy-and-past to put it into an email, after I and others had already printed it out, so it's unlikely I made a mistake. If I had typed it manually the chances of an error would have been much higher.

I notice they have now changed this URL and removed the "Access Denied" message, and replaced it with a notice saying the page does not exist.

The other pages have been archived so even if they disappear, they are now mirrored in many places online.
