Well, here it goes: my story - then tell me if you think it's Lyme...
Summer 2013: outside working in yard when I got this weird head rush, nausea, dizziness thing. Went to ER, they said slight dehydration, but nothing else. Had this happen a few more times.
Late September 2013: started having really bad GI issues (severe diarrhea, gurgle gut, weight loss, etc). Head rush instances happening more often.
Was referred to a Gastrologist. Had endoscope, Hida scan, barium swallow - all normal.
All of 2014: head and GI issues continue. New symptoms emerge as year goes on (nerve pain in hips, frequent sinus infections, joints popping/stiffness, fatigue, numbing in fingers, hot flashes, palpitations, night sweats, muscle spasms, headaches, etc)
Feb 2015: suffered worse cold I've ever had. Started to hypersalivate. Air hunger kicked in. Referred to (and still seeing) pulmonologist, cardiologist, disease specialist, Neurologist, Allergist, and ENT.
As of May 2015: diagnosed with chronic allergies, chronic sinusitis, Asthma, bi-lateral Carpal Tunnel, migrains, and mycarditis. Oh, and had my gallbladder removed.
Prior to this (other than being a smoker), I was healthy and active...now, can't do anything. The symptoms are so bad, and frequent.
Was given steroids for the last two years for all the symptoms. I'm a mess. Tested for Lyme (my suggestion) recently thru Quest. Negative for all, except IGG bands 41 and 66. All current Dr's say NO LYME cause test was negative.
Started seeing Dr on 18th of Jan. who treats Lyme. He said unsure if this is what I have, but is treating me with Amoxicillin 4000 mg daily. No mention of any other testing? I don't think he's ILADS trained.
Anyway, sorry about the ramble...I'm just sick of being sick, and answers would be nice. But after everything I've read on Lyme, it definitely sounds like a contender of my illness.
