I've seen stuff like that.
It could be candida, or mucus. I don't know.
Though, now that I think about it, I feel candida has a more stringy look, whereas the mucus has a brown tinge to it - it'd be like a caramel jelly, if they made caramel jelly.
But, the candida will kind of be waving from the stool as opposed to just.. flat right on it, which is how you saw it?
Though, I suppose it depends though - things like consistency, stickiness, et cetera probably play a part in how the little guys present themselves.
All that said, I would say candida.
Your poop hasn't been right, because your gut terrain has probably changed. The infections can do that. They can also cause or contribute to muscular problems down there as well, if you are suffering from any of that.
I don't want to scare you and say YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND IT COULD GET A LOT WORSE though. I don't quite know what I'd recommend, if I did, apart from the usual things like probiotics and a healthy diet - not too high in carbs and/or sugars.
Nystatin would be alright, if you can afford it. I don't feel comfortable saying you absolutely need it though.
Y'all like the poop talk? Consider having some fun on Google images.
