Hi all,
I just listened to a "Lyme Ninja" podcast (a fantastic podcast btw) on earthing, and am wondering if anyone has had experience with it?
Supposedly it helps a lot with sleep and inflammation- two of my problems. I've done some research on HealingWell and other sites and reviews seem to be mixed between those that say it helps and those that don't notice anything (more of the former).
I found this nice objective article on it, where the author criticizes the "science" but concluded that something good is happening. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/earthing/#axzz1uHpmej3A
I'm probably going to plunk down money for a sheet bc I'm desperate but thought I'd do a little more polling beforehand. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts. Thanks.

Landslide45, I am so desperate to get well that I might believe most anything. BUT..... I am also a tightwad with my money. My Dad raised me saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true." So buyer beware.
Now having revisited the beloved words of my Dad, if you try this out and find it to be DA BOMB, please report back to us so I can go and invest!!!
Best of luck,

I never used a mat, I just went outside, took off my shoes and sock and sunk my feet into the ground. This is a bit different from an earthing mat, yet it did help me to feel a bit better.
Like you said, there are mixed reviews, so if you can find someone that has one you can try out for a few days, it would be best.

I'm curious - why would you need a mat?
Is that for people who live i the city and don't have access to anything but pavement?

The idea with the mat is to sleep on it and get extended benefits. Also obviously helpful on days like today where it is 12 degrees (in VA).

Dr. Mercola is a proponent of earthing mats:

Please let us know if you decide to try one and how things go.
Good luck!
