as i understood and was told per Dr:
High C4a and high C3a = possible lyme
High C4a only = possible yeast and or mold and possible other things not mentioned much
High C4a after ABX = possible and likely Candida (yeast)
Current and past Candida antibody tests from a regular lab and any symptoms will help answer this.
...........But then that link above.......? "Patients with predominant musculoskeletal symptoms of Lyme disease have normal C3a and increased C4a levels. This pattern differs from the increase in both markers seen in acute Lyme disease, and C4a changes correlate with the response to therapy in chronic Lyme disease."
Still though, thinking candida. If you bloat after carbs and sugar, thats a good indictiation.
