Hello Lymies!
So I had two of my severely impacted wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday (2 days ago) I finished up treating suspected but not confirmed Babesia first of Feb. Done 4 months of Doxy sep-dec... And several different abx over the last year. I did amoxicillian July 2015 which at first helped but made me worse (I thought) I see a nurse practitioner that knows about
Lyme but she's not an LLMD ... My insurance covers her and I don't have money to pay for a LLMD unless they accept medicaid... My biggest fear is that the dentist prescribed me amoxicillian and it's going to waken up my Lyme again... I was feeling great! Also I had a horrible reaction to laughing gas and the whole wisdom teeth removal was a bad experience... I cannot tolerate the norcos but I can tolerate motrin 800
Anyways... What do we do when we need abx for something like a tooth infection? Will this set me back again? Any advice/experiences?

I've had to be on abx for a few different things over the last few years and what I discovered is that although it may create a small herx, the doses usually aren't strong enough to do too much. I am careful to increase my detoxing though any time I need to use abx.
My last time I needed abx was also for an oral surgery - I had 3 dental implants placed. I was on abx and used an natural abx (Dr. J's Microbojen) to be sure that my lowered immune function wouldn't be a factor in my healing. I did have to detox well daily, but I did fine.

If you have more pain than you know what to do with, try finding some plantain ([url]https://goo.gl/PVvblm[/url) and bruising it and placing it on the spots where there is pain. That was what helped me get through the dental implants healing.
Best of luck! I hope it all goes smoothly!
