Suggestions Please: CMV + Herpes Simplex Virus 1/2, VZV

I would start with Lysine as it can treat the herpes and the VZV (varicella-zoster virus, also a herpes virus). There are studies that show that Lysine can help heal even the CMV as well.

When I have to start using Lysine, I start off with 3,000 mgs three times a day (total of 9,000 mgs daily) and stay at that dose for 2 weeks or longer then I start tapering down, watching for little signs from my body to tell me if I'm doing it too fast. You can always increase the dose again if you see those signs.

I rarely am on the high doses for more than 4 - 6 weeks.

I second the lysine. I haven't used it specifically but I've taken it in other supplements.

Another thing to consider is body temperature. If your body temp is much lower than 98F it's easier for virus to survive and replicate. Plus lymph fluid becomes less fluid or more gelled the lower the body temperature it is. So you can create a lose lose situation if you aren't able to keep warm.

I use an infrared sauna, it does a good job of bringing up my temperature. It helped me beat the flu in three days, only one day was I very sick.

Other things to consider would be oregano, thyme, and frankincense essential oils. These do a great job of stopping virus replication.
Oregano and thyme are also considered "hot" oils.
