It's horrible Courtney! I already had health anxiety before getting sick. What was causing your nausea? I just hope it isn't causing yeast/fungas...it'll just hold up my healing😕 Thanks for the tip!
Yes, it drives my nuts trying to always figure out what is what so I can then go about
treating or trying to help whatever that 'what' IS!!
For me, primarily when the nausea was real bad, it occured while being on a heavy antibiotic..therefore mine has mostly been from herxing and the die-off making my body super toxic hence causing nausea. The activated charcoal helps SO MUCH for this.
Also, to be honest though I have to mention... there have been sometimes where my nausea was from me letting myself get maxed out on stress though. Like close to a nervous break-down stressed. I normally could handle normal life stressors prior to lyme, but with being ill and all (and the infections throwing our body out of whack) I sometimes get super stressed and literally my nerves get the best of me. I just cant handle stress like I used to..this actually causes nausea for me. So in a nutshell, when this happens...I have to be "extra kind" to myself, re-group, relax, and avoid any more stressors until my body and mind chill out. Sometimes, a valium helps too if im in that mode so I can make my mind stop going! Detoxifying my body in general helps too as that is always a good thing no matter what we are dealing with.
Try the activate charcoal though. Our CVS has the Nature made brand and its really cheap-like 6-7 bucks. Its best to take it at night though. Read the bottle but it has to be taken away from food, supplements or any meds because it works by "binding" to everything. You basically want it to go in your body and bind toxins (not anything else). I even noticed a couple times that if I took it too close to eating, it wouldnt work as well. After you take it, like the next day, it will 'come out' in your bowel movement and that will be black from the charcoal. No doubt, as soon as I have that BM, I get an 'Ahhh' feeling from those toxins being OUT and my nausea ends up dissappearing! Sorry if that was a bit T.M.I.
